We have a 03 coach and it seems the a/c is not working as well as it should. I checked the outlet temps today and the temp was 57 with an outside temp of 75. When I check the air outlet temps on our cars I come up with temps below 40. The next check was to put a gauge on the charge port to see what the pressure readings were, but when I connect the gauge it reads 0. If I depress the pin in the charge port, nothing comes out. Now I know there is pressure in the system, what am I missing?

On mine, a valve needs to be turned open to activate the charge port. You must not overcharge or compressor failure may result. I recommend you leave to professionals if you don't have gages on both high and low sides and knowledge to use them.

I had the same problem from day one... So, this year when I did my maintenance for the summer driving season I decided to top off the A/C. I got a can of 134A Plus tha contains pag oil, cool down (can lower temp up to 10 degrees), O ring conditioner, stop leak and red dye. I already had a DIY gage (not the professional version), but it works you just have to be careful not to add to much.

The temps in A/C mode while running down the road where ok at best. Now after I topped it off it was running about 46 degree in 75/85 degree outside temps.

This will not fix the slow moving warm air problem. That is a coach builder problem do to the fact the air intake is right in the engine compartment. The fix is to duct cool air fro the grill (on my project list).
