a/c recharge

I have replaced a/c compressor, exp. valve & dryer. After jumping low pressure switch the compressor clutch will not engage so I can start ccharging system. I have checked & do have voltage at the a/c clutch wire. Is there some thing I am missing or is the new compressor at fault? Any help would be help full.

If there's adequate voltage at the clutch wire, it's either a ground problem or a bad clutch.

A/c recharge

Thanks for info. I found the problem. It was the connector was not making contact on the ground side. I got a new connector from napa & every thing was fine. Still can not find any high pressure check port. I think w/h installed a service valve instead of a check port. The valve is right above the radiator on driver side. So I charged it to low pressure reading only. Seems to be working fine.

I think you are correct as I don't see a HPP either. I assumed you pulled a vacuum prior to charging. What pressure did you charge too?
