I am presently troubleshooting an old problem I am having with my dash air, clutch not engaging. I am using the Evans Telcon website as suggested by another reader and I am finding it to be very helpful. I am at the section where I have been asked to jumper my thermostat and my problem is I can not locate it. I am not sure what it looks like so maybe it is one of the reasons I can't find it. I have removed part of the dash to gain access to the controls and to see better in my search. I have checked out the schematic and it does indicate a blue wire going from control panel to thermostat and also a wire from pressure switch to thermostat. I tried to trace the wires but due to poor visibility and most wires are in looms plus not knowing what the thermostat looks like I am not doing well. I am hoping someone might be able to give me some info. My unit is a 2003 Dolphin on a W-22 chassis. Thank you for any help that can be provided. Don

Don,
My rig has a device that appears to be a thermostatic control operating right off of the expansion valve. There is a wire harness going to it also. Cant see wire colors without pulling it apart. The low pressure switch is located on the receiver dryer tank to the left of the radiator. All the above is looking in from hood opening toward passenger side.
Hope this helps.

Marty

Thanks for the info Marty, I think I have found it. I am not sure if it is the item you were referring to but it got me in the area if it wasn't. I found a 2 inch square box with a clear cover on it with a spring inside, two wires are attached and a metal tube going from there to the evaporator assembly. Thanks again, Don.
