ABS Sensor Plug

Does the connector plug on the W22 sensor just pull apart? Mine are very stiff and I don't want to break anything.

ABS sensor

Hi, RamblinFever. I am curious about your issue with the ABS sensor. My '01 LaPalma on W22 chassis ABS light is lit when I first start up. It goes off after some driving and may even come on again while driving. I suspect the sensor is the problem. This is a low mileage unit (29,000mi) and did a lot of time parked before I bought it. I have put 8,000 mi on her since 7/14. Any thoughts?

My ABS light was coming on after a short drive. The recall had not been done on the brakes so while at a Workhorse service center I asked to them check out the cause and three of my wheel sensors needed to be replaced. Without a scan tool I don't think you can be sure whether one or more of the wheel sensors are bad or something else is the problem. The new wheel sensors are about $100 each.
