ABS Sensor Question- '98 Fleetwood Bounder P30

When I bought my '98 Fleetwood Bound 34P on P30 Chassis 2 years ago it was missing the driver's side ABS sensor. I have changed the sensor by my ABS light is still on. I checked the ohm's on both front sensors and go around 2.3 ohms on each. I then went and looked for the rear ABS sensors and found none. I called a local RV shop and they said there should be a sensor mounted onto the rear differential. They said if it has one, clean the connectors where it plugs into the harness as they get corroded. Can anyone confirm the location of the senor or is there a different set up? Any info would be helpful. Also, if I need to get a new sensor any the best place to get it and part#?

Thanks,

Garth

ABS usually works with sensors at each wheel position, so you should have one behind the brakes on both sides in the rear.

In the case of the P30/32 there is one wheel speed sensor on each front wheel but none on the rear wheels. The rear wheel speed is read by a speed sensor on the transmission.

Where is speed sensor on Trans?

Ultra RV Tech,
Can you help guide me to the location of the sensor on the transmission? I looked on the Rear differential just to make sure it's not there an it isn't. I need to look on the actual transmission better but any help that could pinpoint this sensor location and what it looks like would be greatly appreciated.

There is actually two speed sensors on the tailshaft of the transmission, drivers side. They are the exact same sensor, one reads input shaft speed and the other output. The part # is 24203876 and here is a picture:

Found sensors

Ultra RV Tech,
Thanks so much. I found both of the sensors on the Driver's side of the transmission like you stated. Now I just need to ohm test them.
