My brother has a 02 Newmar Kountry Star 37' MH on a Workhorse chassis that I need to charge the dash AC on. I know what to do and I know what to use, the problem is I am not sure of the AC port recharge location. The only port I can is is part of some type of block type of setup located in the upper left and corner under the hood. This block setup has 2 port type black covers. One cover a normal AC recharge type port and the other is a little longer and has what looks like a square drive type of valve in the top of the block. I have not pulled the engine cover off inside the rig so that I can track the lines back to the compressor but I would guess the port on that block setup is the one but just wanted to check with someone that may have knowledge of the workhorse chassis setup before I proceed.

Thanks

Dennis

Sounsd like this is a chore best left to an A/C technician. Handling refrigerant can be cangerous fro the inexperineced.

I found the low pressure port on my 2001 Workhorse chassis yesterday. It's located right behind the intake airhorn.

XTC, My 04 workhorse has the high and low pressure ports on the pass. side of mh close to the evaperator case. you want the port with the blue cap. The black one you describe is the isolation valve for shipping.
