I guess since I started the thread and it is pretty much over I can divert a bit.
Hi Dunner---on that other matter of the jack switch, when I move the ignition to the on position the jacks stay deployed and retract when you move to start the vehicle---stairs retract also---a good plan for the simple minded or disorganized and I plead guilty on both counts on occassion. However if the wire on the parking brake is loose then the jacks do pretty much what ever they want. I know because I have on board air and it is wired to the igntion being on (I'm changing that) So when I want to air my tires when I move the ignition switch to on about half the time the jacks retract----turns out it was that pesky PB wire all the time.Seems many people have problems with that PB wire so when I get where I am going then I will look under there and see if I can get it to stay put a little better.
