Need help. My IP went out and want to leave for Fla. mid December. Service center is over 100 miles round trip and they said to remove it and drop it off. I have no idea were to start.
Behind & under dash, front of dash, whole dash or what ever. Thank you all in advance.

Dave63: First let me say WELCOME to Irv2.com We are glad you are here and posting!

IF you are saying that a Workhorse Authorized Service center is telling YOU to R&R the IP, then something is terribly wrong. DO NOT DO THAT. Instead call workhorse at 877-946-7731 and explain to them your need for help. Don't let them tell you they can't help because you are out of warranty. If they do, ask them to connect you to someone in Techinical assistance. Please remember you will catch more flies with honey than vinegar!

Please let us know how this is resolved. Good luck. ED

Dave,

Welcome to IRV2... glad to see you made over from the dark side. Thats what we call RV.net.

As I said over on RV.net... There are up to 6 screws that hold the cluster in the dash, depending on how each OEM mounts it. On my Newmar Mountain Aire the is a panel on top of the dash that I can remove and just reach behind the dash and lift the cluster out after disconnecting the data cable and 3 screws. Remember to write your mileage down as they need to put it back in the new cluster.
