The highest RPM your engine has turned is stored in the service information message center along with the MAX speed and number of hours on the engine.

Below are my W24 readings.

Mileage 4717.6
Engine hours 122.9
Maximum RPM 4531 (must have been during delivery)
Maximum vehicle speed 74.6 MPH

Hopefully others will post their readings.

Paul, The procedure is in the Workhorse manual. Chapter 1 and about page 80 or so (sorry I can't remember for sure- your post came in after I got back to the house)

Turn the key on (no need to start engine). Press the MODE button and hold for 5 seconds. Once the screen lites up press MODE until Diagnostic. Page around in there by pressing MODE button. You'll see the various pieces of information. I'm sure someone else will provide a better explanation.

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
While there is lots of information, I have emailed Workhorse and wrote ACTIA trying to get information on the accuracy of the "Oil life remaining" information. I submitted the inquiries the middle of February, it appears no one is willing to step up to the plate.

Engine hours 149
Max RPM 4601
Max speed 83.8
Total Miles 6883.7

It went to a rally in North Dakota before I took delivery. The dealers drivers must have been hotrodding it. Although I have seen 75 on it!

Hey rogueii I see yours turned 4826 rpm for 81 mph. Is that because of the change to a 5 speed?

Glenn

Note, I am saying ("IF") I did it, it must have been against a big Head Wind---probably coming West out of Mitchell, SD.

But you are running the 6 speed, right? Could be the difference.
I'll have to see if it is any better since the UltraPower upgrade. As long as the wife is asleep.

I dont mean to butt in here, but Im sure Roqueiis 4826 rpm occured in something other than "high" gear, (5th).. Given slight differences in tire diameter, tach/speedo inaccuracies, it looks like he would be makin' about 132 mph.. That would get alot of attention along the interstate.. Probably even make the evening news...rgr...

I also meant to add to my post, that when my "instrument panel recall" was done a year or so ago, It returned to me with all the "History", (numbers that we are discussing here) gone..
The milage was correct, but a fresh start on the "numbers"...rgr...
