actia repair

Was wondering if anyone has used BBA remanufacturing on E-bay to have the screen on the actia cluster repaired. It's getting hard to read on my 2005 Itasca (vertical lines) thanks in advance.

Had similar problem under warranty. Cluster got replaced free. Problem is coming back off and on. Cause is loss of contact between the LCD insert and the Printed Circuit Board. Moisture oxidizes the almost invisible contacts on an elastomeric base on the edge of the LCD. If mine fails, then I will attempt to disassemble it and clean the contacts. Find a very skilled electronics repair person, maybe he can do it for you.

I haven't used them but thinking I might in the future I checked both of their web sites and couldn't find any indication that they work on Actia IPs. I posted a question on their forum asking if they do and will pass it along if I get an answer.
