Advice needed Work Horse chassis

Hi All,
I am looking for some advice on a 1997 Fleet wood South wind, On my last trip my rear went on the rig, The yoke broke and broke an axle! Uhg.. Any ways after three weeks of the repair shop having my rig we are still no where, The issue seems that the VIN number does not match in GM's lookup tool for this rig, I have no idea how that could have happened but they ordered parts that did not match the rig. Does anyone have any idea's where I might go to? Or does anyone know any where to find parts for a 1997 p30 chassis GM! Most parts I look up are discontinued. But there has got to be a entire rear or parts some where?? Can any one help?

Thanks!
Tim

Here is another site with P30 parts, not sure what axle you have but they do have axle shafts

Most of the auto/truck salvage yards are connected to a national computer that lists all the parts available now.

There should be a tag on the rear end with all the info you need to buy parts. If it is missing you can look up this info from the rear end manufacture(Eaton.Dana) or who erver made the one you have. If the shop cant tell the differance find a new shop.
