Does anyone have a connection or information where I may obtain the Alcoa aluminum wheel hub cover?
For us oldies, it is called a "baby moon" hubcap. It just snaps in the center of the wheel covering the hub. About 8" in dia., smooth chrome.
Lost one coming out of Hemet and need to get another at a FAIR price.

Thanks all,

David

Thanks for your reply Ol'Joe. Here is what I found out by doing extensive research on these wheels AND caps thru Workhorse and Alcoa.
The number to Alcoa will forward you to another number that is a VENDOR, HalTec, for various wheels, tires, valve stems, etc. components and they can get you the hubcaps for your wheels. BUT, they will charge you an enormous amount of money, i.e., front hubcaps (baby moons) (2) for the 22.5 x 7.50 alum. wheels were $130.00 EACH!!!!!! What a ripoff!
I finally found them at a local big truck parts place, "Truck in Stuff", are ya ready, for $7.60 each, stainless chromed!!!
So, word of warning, if it sounds too expensive, it probably is.
I thought I would let everybody know in case you loose one of yours.

Until later,
David

Send a message via AIM to oemtech
Usually when you see these outrageous prices it means they don't want to mess with it.
