Has any one used Alliance Coach for service? If so, how do rate them?

My coach is in for the caliper recall, had appointment on 9-22-10 service writer asked if I could wait to pick-up on 9-23-10, called late afternoon said coach was not finished service writer unavailable.
I will contact them today Friday 9-24-10 to see if complete. I have had service on three different occasions and I will post my experience later today, hope that coach is finished before the weekend as promised. We will see, and I will post my experience.

I had my calipers replaced there on 9/7. They did a very good job from what I could tell. They allow you in their work bays to watch. (very rare) I had them do a complete fluid flush, cost me $79.00 The job took about six hours including their lunch break. Only one man per coach working. I think it should have been done faster, but I'm not complaining. They have a comfortable waiting room with TV and magazines to read if your waiting for the coach.
I would recommend them.

OK, finished replacing calipers, other than taking 2.5 day's everything seems good.
Now the rest of the story, I previously had them replace my turn signal module, went to pick coach up, NO TURN SIGNALS, had coach another week said part from Workhorse was bad and my brake controller was wired incorrectly, now mind you this is a 2003 coach with over 98,000 miles and I have never had a problem with towing my horse trailer, after I mentioned this he then said "I mean we rewired it a different way"
Now the best part, job was quoted at $478.50 when I went to pick up the coach I was presented a bill for $1,275.00 after LMAO they said they would reduce price to $950.00, I finally asked them why so much, "We had to trouble shoot for over 12 hours to locate the defective part" being stupid I had to ask who installed the original part and since you claimed it was defective from the manufacture why should have to pay pray tell, good question they said guess we will just have to credit you and only charge the original quoted amount, my, my.
To end this long, long reply, my turn signals continue to blow the fuse and I have yet to hook up my horse trailer, afraid to have them check any further because this seems to be beyond their comprehension, so be careful, as with any repair facility ask as many questions as you can and then make your decision.

Wow!! That is not a good story. I guess I will continue searching for a reputable service center for the brake recall.

It is very disappointing to hear of an unsatisfied customer, especially when they have a perception of being taken advantage of!!!!! I am not sure what happened in this case, but will look into it Monday morning and will do what ever is needed to make it right. We do not always do things perfectly, but if it is brought to our attention intend to make it right.
Thank you
Brett Howard

Dale & Betty, don't get me wrong they did seem to fix the brakes, however it wont be until November before I take another trip, with the problem other repair facilities are having procuring the calipers I would rethink using them. I have been to numerous so called authorized repair facilities and to tell the truth only 10% I would recommend.
So do your homework, however you may not be able to find another repair facility here in Central Florida that can facilitate the repairs NOW. As my Attorney always reminds me "Govern Yourself Accordingly".

Brett, You have taken the first step toward resolving this customer's complaint and I'm sure that you will do your best to make it right.

I tried to be honest with the OP and even suggest that they give Aliance Coach a second look, however I just had to answer Brett Howard's "perception of being taken advantage of" I do not know how to be more emphatic in my explanation of what transpired.
It always seems that the customer makes up stories and until we hear both sides, every customer is suspect. They adjusted the price accordingly, but as my wife has stated If it was her she probably would have paid the bill believing all the problems they had were not the fault of the manufacture.
Now if anyone wants to know about my additional experiences with Alliance Coach, PM me I will be happy to elaborate.

Bill, Why would not simply right click on Brett Howard's screen name and send him a "Private Message" and address your concerns one to one? If he took the time to reach out here and voice an opinion with his willingness to follow-up tomorrow, I think that you should communicate with him and see how it works out. Perhaps you can make a difference and make this situation better for the next person.
We (iRV2.com members) have had the opportunity to make a difference whether you are a Winnebago Industries of a local dealership there's always benefit in honest unsolicited grass roots feedback.
I'm sure that he will get an eMail notification and he will see your post and this post.

No Driver, I needed to make a statement just as Mr. Howard did, to my mind he essentially called me a liar and I do have a problem with that.
You have not gone through what I have experienced with them and all along I have taken the high road, now my honesty and integrity is question and I am going to reply in earnest. They have a considerable amount of my $$$ and the ball is in their court, I do not have to continue to placate them to have repairs done correctly.
Is it not the intention of this Forum to educate and enlighten the members to specific problems or questions that may arise. Sending a PM to someone who questions the validity of a post serves no purpose but to hid the true facts.

Bill, OK That's fine. I guess you needed to get your pound of flesh and slam the door on further discussions and or achieving a workable resolution.

Working in person with someone who would be in the best position to turn this issue around doesn't seem to carry any weight with your right to voice your opinion and I'm fine with that. I would have tried a bit more patience and diplomacy especially since the guy reached out to you. You have nothing to loose other than what you left on the table. Perhaps there is no resolution. Good luck.

Mr. Senick and the rest of the Board,
Please except my sincere apology, I did not intend to offend anyone. It is very clear we did not do provide him with the service he deserved or he would not be upset with us. If Mr. Senick is willing I intended to look into this and make it right.
If anyone has any concerns about how they or anyone else have been treated at our facility please reach out to me and let me know. Again we are not perfect, but it is our desire to provide the “Best Service In the Industry”. Obviously we have fallen short in this case.
Thank You
Brett Howard

If you are still looking for a service center, ABC Bus in Winter Garden did a great job on repairing/replacing my rear brakes the first failure I had. Not sure where you are, but it is about 10 miles East of Clairmont on FL 50. I have an appointment next week to get my new design calipers.
Good Luck
