Allignment on W16

I had an alignment appointment yesterday at a popular truck ctr, with the toe and caster recommendations from here. He found that it was toed out to the point that my tires were worn bad on the inside. After rotating the tires and setting the toe, he insisted I try it for a while before changing the caster. The caster was just over 3 on each side. The motor home drove different, but not really what I was hoping for.
Should I expect much difference between 3 and 5 caster? The motor home requires constant corrections. All corners have been weighed, tires adjusted.

Thanks 007, the only thing remaining is from 3+ to 5 caster, than I'll need to start on aftermarket add-ons. Was just wandering if I can expect a noticeable difference with the additional caster.

We have not seen anyone here accomplishing a caster change on a W16.

My understanding is that all chassis components are identical to the W18 except spring rates. Is the W16 fairly new to the Workhourse line?

The W16 is very different from the W20 and up series starting with the frame rails. The W16's rails are made from 35,000 psi tensile strength steel as opposed to 50,000 psi steel on the W20s and up. Spring rates, axles, differential gears, brakes, abs, transmission and other system that I can't think of immediately are different.

Not that it's a bad thing but a W16 doesn't need all the uprating and price point increases that would be in place on bigger W series chassis.

W16 and W18 are almost identical. That said, we have not seen many if any W18 owners opt in for a caster change. The W16 & W18 were introduced in 2006.

After having two large class A's, Our requirements changed and we chose this new entry level A rather than something my wife would not drive. I'm trying to make this drive as good as possible so she feels comfortable and we can continue traveling. Thank You for your help.
