I have never been able to use my CC on the W-20.
When it drops 1MPH the tran. will drop out
of overdrive, and pull the MH back to 1MPG over
the set CC speed.

I have been told this can be adjusted thru the
OBD ll interface to the Allison tran!!

My question is has anyone had this done?
And will my Mochanic need an Allison program
or can he do it with his Snap-On diag. tool?

The reprogram helped, as before I could not
use the CC going across alligator alley in Fl. It would drop out of overdrive going over
the overpasses, so I seldom use CC. TENN.

This is something that will have to be done by a WCC service center or by an Allison serevice center.

In 2003 WH and Allison released a new version of their firmware that reduces the sensitivity of the cruise control (CC) downshifts.

It is bulletin 70301-T (Workhorse) and requires that the Allison transmission firmware be upgraded, then the Workhorse engine firmware.

I had it done and it made the cruise control more useful.

This information is from the Workhorse Chassis Guide, page 119. I could mail it to you, but its 32 MB in size. Apparently WH has started charging for the guide (paper). Check: http://users.sisna.com/cebula/WChassisGuide.zip
