We are looking over our new 2009 Itasca Suncruiser W24. I can't find a manual for the Allison 6 speed 2350. The operator's manual that came with the MH is dated 2/05 for the 1000, 2000, 2100, 2200 and 2500. I called Winnebago and they said to call Workhorse first then Allison. Left message at Workhorse but they haven't returned my call. Does anyone know if there is an Allison Transmission Operator's Manual for the 2350? I've looked at the Allison website and can't find one. Thanks for any help, Oldcarfun

Oldcarfun, What you need is a 2000 Series Six-Speed Allison Transmission manual. The variants by last 3 digits I understand are in application and may vary from 1 chassis builder to the next.

Some older 2000 series were 5 speeds only. Current 2000s have six speeds w/o parking pawls (UFO) while the some others do (W24).

There essentially isn't a significant amount difference between the 2000 Series transmissions that would make interesting reading operations wise for an owner such as yourself unless you are wanting to dig deeper into the maintenance manuals.

The next significant jump happens when you go to a 3000 series or higher.

The Allison site indicates the owners manual is dated dated 5/08 and is current for 2009 model year.

Thank You! I wasn't able to find it on the Allison website when I searched publications for keyword "2350." It's hard to know what/how exactly to search. Thanks for your help.

I feel your frustration, I wish all search functions were as good as Google and offer "Close" matches.
