I have 07, Dolphin on a 07 Workhorse chassis. The coach has a push button transmision actuator. When the couch sits for awhile it does not go into drive or any other gear. At first I thought it was temprature sensitive, but it seems to have something to do with disingauging the park brake and engaging the park brake and or foot brake. I'm not sure what combo really works but it eventually engauges.
Anyone else have this issue? What was the fix?

Brad

I don't have the same setup but I would think in order; foot brake, park brake, transmission.

If you have the yellow park brake knob:
1. You step on the brakes
2. Push in and hold the yellow knob
3. Select drive (or reverse), and away you go.

That is the procedure that is required on my Coach.

Brad, I experienced the same situation after sitting two weeks in Yellowstone. It only happened one time, all I did was let the engine run for a few minutes and everything worked OK. Sorry I don't have anything further to offer.

Thanks for the reply,

I don't have air brakes, just the standard cable parking brake that is applyed with by pressing down with your foot. (wish I had them.)

I may conciencly need to pay attention to the order in which I disengage the brake, the pattern you suggest may be the cure. But I still suspect there is something arie.

Thanks for your reply.
