Alternating rear turn signals on Dolphin

I have two turn signal lights on the rear of my Dolphin. One is above the other. Both lights come on and blink when I turn on the turn signals as they should. I want to make them alternating. When the top light comes on the bottom light is off and vice versa. I need a circuit diagram on how to do this or I need an aftermarket part.

Are your brake lights separate from these lights

They actually make products to do this.. HOWEVER before you do this you may need to check state law...

Depending on the officer, and the judge, and how "Tight" you read the law.. you could get in trouble.

Not all that long ago license plate frames with flashing lights were the rage... I know one cop who wrote several tickets for it (NOTE, I never went in for one so I was safe).

I might add, I know cops who violate a few license plate frame laws as well.

The brake lights and turn signals are on the same circuit.

With both on the same circuit I don't believe you will be able to accomplish your goal without separating out the brake light on to an individual light.
