Another brake problem

Well, ever since we purchased our m/h a little over a year ago i've thought the brakes were not quite right. Hard pedal and low braking power. we haven't used it much so it wasn't at the top of my list. Crawled under today and it looks like the rears are not working. Rusty rotors. Tried to remove the slide bolts but couldent move them with a 2ft breaker bar. Is this something Workhorse will take care of or will we be stuck with the bill? And if so what would be a reasonable price to have repairs made?
I know there are lots of threads about the brake problems but when we bought the 07 m/h i dindn't think we would be afected with brake problems. thanks, dave

I would take the MH to a workhorse service center very soon...it should be still under warranty. Even a call to Workhorse will help you decide what to do. Have you registered your unit with WH on their web site? If not I suggest you do soon.

Contact Workhorse asap, not supposed to be having brake issues on newer model chassis.
Good luck

Good point jdsr; kind of strange that we've been convinced that if you own a certain model-year and chassis series, it's expected.

And if it's not 'expected', then why have we been told we need to drive it more, drive with more caution, maintain it more, change the brake fluid more frequently, lube the pin slides more, lube the bell crank more, use a infared thermometer at each stop on the brake rotors, watch for smoke, take notice if the MH doesn't 'roll forward' if your foot is off the brake, etc, etc, etc.
