I've just about done all that I can do maintenance wise on my 2003 W22 - engine oil/filter, repl gas filter, serviced air filter, cleaned ABS sensors, serviced tranny, lubed chassis, serviced rear end, replaced serpentine belt, flushed/changed coolant. Next week I get new tires, and then will have the brake/alignment shop check alignment, service brakes (new fluid, inspect pads/rotors, lube calipers, etc), service front wheel bearings, service front/rear suspension.

The question is: What's left? I have 38.6K miles & 5.5 yrs on the moho. Any reason to schedule an appointment with a service center to look at the engine (plugs were replaced at 15K and wires at 25K), or any other item? Happy to do it, if needed. Thanks for the replies.

RLBOW43: You've done a great job and just need to make sure the ASC replaces your brake fluid as part of the service work you have scheduled.

When you "serviced tranny" I hope you replaced the Dexron III with TranSynd. If so, you are good to go, and I hope you enjoy many more carefree miles. ED

Well, it was fun this time, but took forever. I don't seem to get a lot done quickly. After looking at your blogspot it looks like you're having a bit of fun yourself. Happy trails to you.

That I did. Everything synthetic I could find. But for the price of gas, I hope to drive the moho for a long time to come.

As we all know this lifestyle is about priorities and choices. One of our choices is to spend the kids inheritance on fun.

Rlbow, perhaps you did it when you serviced the coolant, but I would do a good check of all the coolant hoses, particularly if they are original, including the ones supplying the Motor-Aid. Often these are given a quick squeeze, and declared ok, but if you pop one, you have a shut down on your hands, as well as losing some expensive coolant.. rgr..
