auto park brake

Hmmm well I'm trying to adjust the auto park brake.. you know the shoes through a port only problem i cant seem to find the port to adjust accordingly I have felt around both sides of the drum and nothing...and if i have to replace brake shoes do I need to drop tranny to get to the center bolt that holds the drum on? any and all help is appreciated...

You take the driveshaft down.You don't have to drop the tranny. the port is a spring clip cover on the backplate. You stick a screwdriver or adjustment tool in and adjust.

The 12 o'clock is more like 5 minutes before the 12 position on my unit. I couldn't find the star wheel in the 12 o'clock position.

If you can get yourself into a level poition with the opening you should be able to see the star wheel and brake shoes.

Now thats funny level with the port....Im using a screw driver to feel and see....but im working on it...
