Has anyone had a problem with the Auto Parking brake not holding? I'm currently on vacation 2000 miles from home and it seems as though neither the park position or the parking brake will hold the MH on any kind of a grade. It was working fine up to a couple of days ago. I called WH road side for info but they offered no help, just to get it to a service center. I stopped at a GM dealer ship that sold the Top Kick type trucks and they looked under to see if anything could be adjusted but couldn't see anything. I'm using a friends lap top with a bad wireless connection so I my not be able to respond to your replies as quick as I'd like to, so thanks in advance.

The hydraulic system that applies the drivesahft mounted disc brake located between the transmission and drivesahft is located under your hood on the drivers side.
You should be able to hear the electric motor actuating the hydraulic pump when shifting into park. You could have someone shift into park while you watch the under hood hydraulic system.
If the under hood mechanism does not run look for a blown fuse or tripped 12v circuit breaker.

That's not good. Workhorse was no help, even to suggest where a fuse might be, not even a possibility of fixing it your self. That's how much they know about their own product. Then a Chevy dealership can't find any where to adjust it. Well DUH!
Driver if you could get Workhorse to just recall ALL their MoHo's with autopark and put in some tried and proven technology, like a parking pawl and cable operated parking brake, I will lobby every one on IRV to nominate you "Moderator of the Year"
Tom N, do you still live in Crystal River?
I grew up in Clearwater. Been to and thru Crystal River many times. U.S. 19 must be a parking lot the whole length by now, huh?
Gary, I think the hydraulics is only to release the brake and just a spring applies it so it may only need adjusting. I think it adjusts behing the drum. I did'nt think it is a disc brake but a dumb brake, I mean drum brake. I'm sure Driver or someone else will let you know if I'm incorrect about what I said. Mine has always worked OK, they replaced the actuator assembly, but it has worked OK. But........... I don't trust it! but I have to on the steep boat ramps. I've got insurance on it if sinks to the bottom of the lake, I just hope it totals if it does.

Update: We dropped the MH off at the dealers yesterday and after waiting several hours they decided that I was telling them the truth and my auto park and parking brake really weren't working. It took 3 mechanics to figure this out. After a couple calls to Work Horse they decided that the the whole auto park assembly on the back of the transmission would need replacing. They don't offer any replacement parts individually. So now the wait for parts begins. We left the unit there and road the motorcycle the last 200 miles home instead of burning up gas in the MH to make another trip back there when the parts arrive.
Other than this hic-up and a gremlin in the transmission that seems to have disappeared we had a good trip. Only 2 days of rain out of 22 days and 3000 plus miles.
