Autopark parts needed

My autopark locked up at about 55mph and of course left me on the side of the road.
I had it towed to a truck shop that I trust very well and they said the actuator is leaking and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. They can’t seem to be able to find a replacement or where to get it rebuilt.
Can y anyone help me find a source for an actuator or a rebuilder?

I did email Roger (oldusedbear@charter,net)on Thursday but he must be away as I have not heard from him
Thanks for any help.
Greg.

At this point, unless you can find a reputable rebuilder, I would recommend converting over to our Air Operated Park Brake System. You or the shop can call us for details.

I Have no personal experience with this shop but do some research, it seems people were very happy with his work and fast turn around.

RV Chevy P30 or P32 Auto Park Brake Actuator REBUILT SHOP

According to OUB , Roger, it's not that difficult to reseal it, why can't your shop do it?

If your brake applied at 55 MPH you likely may need new AAPB shoes, I've seen them on EBay but I don't have the link.

Did you ignore any warning lights before it locked up. If one of the switches started leaking, you should have gotten a warning light. If you lost 12 volts to the system as possibly in a blown fuse, you would probably get an immediate lockup at the same time as the light came on.
I'm trying to learn this system so I hope my professor (Roger OUB) comes on and verifies or corrects me.

AutoPark parts

Dang, Greg. Can't find anything from last Thursday - - I don't know how this fell thru the cracks.

The seals are available and a decent mechanic should have no big problem replacing one. Save a LOT of money.

Contact me again at oldusedbear11@charter.net

We'll get you fixed up with the info you need.

Sorry for the problem

Roger
