Bilstein Shocks

I just replaced the shocks on my sightseer with Bilsteins. The bolts were a real challenge. They were very tight. The last one we took off looked like it had been cross threaded. I could have beat the mechanic with the bolt that put it on.

I actually broke a wrench trying to loosen one of my rears. I think it was a 15/16 wrench. I think my biggest problem was rust.
When changing front brakes, ran into the same problem and found that Ford used thread sealant on the caliper bolts. Had to use a 4' extension on that wrench to break them loose.
