Bilstein Shocks for Free

I changed my Bilstein shocks on my W20 chassis. I put new Konis on after 60,000 miles. I don't think the Bilsteins are bad. I was able to save the two front shocks and one of the rear shocks.

If anyone needs them, I would gladly give them these old Bilstein shocks. Shipping cost would be on you.

I'm located in Farmington, NM.

Thanks,

Laplatarosa

laplatarosa: Not interested in your Bilstein shock, but would like to know if you can feel/notice a day /night difference in your coach?

leesdx1,

Funny you should ask. I've been asking myself the same question.

I changed out the shocks in about the middle of a 6 month stay in AZ. I had not driven the MH for three months before or 3 months after the change. Now, I only driven about 400 miles on these Koni shocks, but I can't really remember how the Bilstein shocks road.

I thought the ride was good, but I would not say the ride was night & day different than the Bilsteins. Most of the trip home from AZ was on the interstate. Longest stretch the wind was blowing my way. I could still feel the expansion joints, but not too badly. Just enough to know that they were there.

Would I do it again? Yes, I had 60K miles on the Bilsteins. I had the money for the Konis. I had a safe place out of the weather to make the change. And I had a good helper. My thinking was: "If I'm ever going to change now is the time!".

Hope this helps.
