I cannot get my blower to come on for the defrost or fan. This happened about 3 months ago and I found a bad fuse in the box in the engine compartment. Today same thing, checked all fuses including the 2, 10 amp inline to the blower. No AC too. What am I missing?. My AC pump does squil a bit at idle, Bad clutch? are they connected.

Thanks
Mike

Mike, I can't say for sure what the problem might be but the blower motor and the A/C compressor are not connected to one another. The blower motor should work just fine when you turn the fan switch up.

I am stumped too. Today I sprayed a little belt lube by the AC pump to see if it was the belt to stop the squeak, just after that the fan stopped blowing. I have built 3 homebuilt airplanes and designed the electrical sysytem for all but I am ready to start drinking again.

I had trouble with mine running intermittently and decided it was the control switch. Took it out of the control panel and the primary wire is very heavy duty and is quite stiff. The connector is not very strong to hold that wire. I ended up putting a stronger connector on it and wire ties to support it better and no problems now.

Just a idea to check it out.

Driver & Streamerman,
i spoke with Denso this morning and concluded that the main relay in the system went bad. Replaced the relay and all is good.

Driver,
The switch gets power from the relay and that is why the A/C would not come on. Tom at Denso spent 1 1/2 hrs with me to get it right . Good guy and tech support.
