I'm here at the Bounders of America/Bounders United National Rally in Urbanna, VA at the very beautiful Bethpage RV Resort. As far as best entrance to any campground, Bethpage certainly qualifies as #1 in my book. I hope to get a panoramic picture for you guys to see, IF I can figure out how to do it.

There are about 180+ rigs here and about 15 to 20 vendors. Gerry and Shirley from BLUE OX who supported our Sevierville Rally are also here and say hello to all! The Blue Ox tech as usual is busy running around in his golf cart and servicing tow bars.

I have also been very fortunate to meet a number of folks that are either iRV2 members or lurkers and I expect that some of those folks that were just looking might join us in the forum

The brake issue is a bit more prevalent here however people have been nice about it and I haven't had a lot of folks with mad as all get out attitudes. A firm handshake, sitting down with people, eye to eye contact and a good exchange of information is all that anybody wants really.

Tomorrow morning is the 1st of the seminars that I will offer and there will be a second on Thursday afternoon. I hope to get a lot of good feedback from the folks that come to the seminars. It's usually a lot fun and so far the Bounder folks here have been very nice.

I had a nice crowd of folks this morning out on the back porch of the recreation hall here in Bethpage. We covered all types of topics and spoke about brakes for a half an hour or so. I believe I answered all their questions as honestly as I could and they appreciated that.

We covered many other topics and had a good time. My seminar was only scheduled for an hour but when I looked down at my watch 11:00 was approaching fast. 2 1/2 Hrs later we broke up the seminar.

New vehicle owners walked away with a lot of good information about everything from motor oil to air pressures. There were also some iRV2 members and perhaps we'll hear from them as well at some point. The Internet is very sketchy here today, I keep dropping my connection, can't figure it.

One more seminar to do to tomorrow and we'll be departing here I believe on Saturday morning. So far only a trace amount of rain and it's been comfortable.

A Bounder rep came by my rig just a little while ago and he invited me to attend their rally next year which will be held in Rayne, LA on the same dates. If you've living out that way make a point of joining up with a Bounder group and participate with the rally. Nice people.

I set myself up next to my motorhome with my computer and I've been banging away on the keys for quite a long time today. I got some larger pictures to put up in the Interim Repair Procedure thread and with the help of a yet unnamed "Oemy", the larger format pictures were put up.

I greeted a number of Bounder Owners who came by my rig just to say that they had enjoyed the seminar I had presented on Wednesday. Cool!

What they shared with me is that they felt that I gave them the best information that basically was unavailable to them. I suggested to a number of these folks to come on iRV2 and get it direct from the Forum. I told them we're never closed and we're here 24/7. I hooked up one owner with a service center in Orlando in regard to a bad TAC module. Thanks to Jon. He's one of our best resources that are available here in the forum.

A (unnamed) dealership is showing 2 Bounder Classics at this rally both on Fords. Inside the product brochures they are showing for 2010 that the Workhorse is the optional chassis and it's available on the W Series. Both of these rigs are painted in Classic Bounder colors and feature full body paint. It's curious as to why both Fords are tail high as they are sitting there in the parking lot unloaded.

This afternoon at 2:30 I presented a second seminar and 10 people attended. We sat around in a semi circle and we talked about the Interim Notice, how to identify and determine if what was going on was a symptom. Flipping the card over we discussed what to do and how to obtain assistance in regard to what was being presented to them as a problem.

One of the attendees took over the floor and spoke about how well the procedure worked for him. He wasn't shy about it either. He said he called Roadside Assistance, they dispatched a tow truck, got him on the floor at the service center, repaired the problem and he was on his way in but a few hours. The man was very complimentary as to how quickly Workhorse responded to his problem and got him on the road.

The other club members took what he said at face value and took away a new appreciation for how this process can work when it's done right. We continued our discussion and addressed a number of questions that some of the new owners had. There were 2 - 2009 Bounder owners in the session and they were new to Workhorse and they had a lot of questions about maintenance issues including how to use their grade brake. Dealerships sometimes have no clue how to demonstrate these things.

Concluding the seminar some of the attendees followed me back to my rig so that I could show them my CrossFire system and TPMS. It's amazing what a dealership will tell their customer about how much air to put in their tires. A 35 foot motorhome does not need to run 110 PSI in its tires.

Our day was over at 4:00pm and Colleen made an excellent spaghetti casserole! Roxy and I took a long walk (to her) and when she got home she took a drink and passed out on the rug.

The casserole was Yummy!

Please consider joining us for the Workhorse Chat this evening at 9:00pm Eastern. Nobody cares if you can't type - we'll wait! Comon' in and join the fun!

While I was in Urbana, iRV2 member roguii came by in his car with his DW just to check out the campground. When I approached his car, he opened his greeting with DriVer? ... to which I responded yes! Then it went on from there. It always nice to meet iRV2 people and to put a face to the screen name.

Friday morning arrived and this was to be the last day of the rally for vendors which were scheduled to close at 4:00pm. I opened the display area next to me coach as I had previously and made myself available. Earlier in the week I spoke with an owner that had a TAC issue which was exacerbated by the use of the cruise control. I obtained a recommendation from Jon which I passed on to Bill, the Bounder owner I was working with. Bill said that he was going to Florida so I called Golby Motors and spoke with Cliff and put Bill in touch with Cliff.

I expect that when Bill passes through Orlando he can have the situation evaluated and Bill is expecting to have the repair done on his way back from the Keys.

We packed up our gear and we departed the campground right after lunch and we headed out on the highway. We had a nice 1st day on the road and we stopped at the Smithfield, KOA right at exit 90, the Intersection of 701 and I95 to head straight south the next morning and back home for Saturday.

We had not taken this route for quite some time since it takes longer but riding the the countryside is always more relaxing and enjoyable plus we save a few gallons of gas since the speed limit on average was 55 MPH.
