bounder trans

i am about to buy a bounder 34f workhorse 8.1 it has a 5 speed with overdrive switch what kind of trans is it the dealer says it a allison i say not so, can some one clear this up? and any feed back on this rig would help also

Hi Sal and welcome.

If the Bounder is on a Workhorse chassis it has an Allison tranny. I have the '05 Bounder 34F on the WH chassis,also. Love it and Allison tranny, to say nothing about the 8.1.
