Just got back from a weekend trip after my MH sat parked for two months. We've only had this W22 chassis MH for a few months so things are still new to us.

I know that the brakes have a booster pump or something like that but the whistleing noise seems louder now that it did the last time we were out 2 months ago.

Is it normal to get this high pitched noise when you apply the brake? and to hold your foot on the brake while stipped?

I have the same "hiss" on my unit-previous threads about it indicate normal operation. Mine seemed to get a little louder after a couple of months also.

Mine does the same thing and unfortunately it is normal AND ANNOYING! I'm not sure what produces the noise, but it has something to do with the Bosch Hydro-Max hydraulic brake booster system.

I've found the noise quiets down a bit if you reduce pressure on the brake pedal while stopped. I try to hold my foot on the brake just enough to keep the coach from rolling or just turn the radio up some!

Well, I'm glad to be "normal" I too have found that by reducing the pressure will reduce the noise.

Sorry if this was a duplicate topic; I thought I had read far enough back but guess I should have done more searching.

Thanks..
