While lubricating my rig this morning, I noticed both brake caliper housings were a little loose. I could detect movement, albiet slight as it may be, in both front/back and side/side directions. I'm guessing 1/16-1/8", is this something I should be concerned about? The bolts securing them to the wheel appear to be tight.

I have 13K miles on it and have had no problems braking and no abnormal wear.

Better loose than tight. We've seen what tight does - slightly loose should be a good thing considering that everything holding the caliper assembly appears mechanically sound or as it should. An 1/8 of an inch would be a lot BTW most likely you were feeling a 1/16" or less. If it gets too loose I'm not certain if it wouldn't be prone to introducing a little more brake squeal than desired.

I would offer, keep checking it ocasionally and ... there should be nuthin' to worry about.
