Am the second owner of a 2003 Winnebago sitting on a W22 W/H chassis without the W/H Owners Manual to review. My instrument panel shows the "Parking Brake ON " light as well as another light, "!" in a circle. They sit beside each other above the gas and temp gauges on the right side of the panel. At this time they are both "ON". Have checked the e-brake switch at rear of parking brake and it appears to be working OK. Had a rear brake drag and overheat the fluid causing sponggy brakes a couple of days ago. Could this be related to my current indications? What is the "!" in a circle indicator light for? Have ordered a manual but will not arrive for another few days. Help Appreciated!

beanjr, That's a Transmission Warning Lamp. The recommendatiuon is to have your vehilce's transmission serviced immediately.

The parking brake on is related to the switch on the parking brake.

Maybe I have a different setup but my "!" light comes on when the parking brake is set. I had a problem with the switch coming loose and allowing the light to come on while driving. This also triggered the ABS light. Adjusted and tightened the switch to fix the problem.

RR, I am referencing page 83, in the Owners Manual where a "!" is displayed inside of a gear. This is a transmission failure.

A "!" is also displayed inside of a circle with 2 arcs on each side. This would be the one you are talking about I expect which is the E-Brake warning.

On review I expect that what was described in the OP was a E-brake Warning lamp. "!" in a circle.

Is the ABS light on as well? If the brake fluid in the master cylinder is not at the proper level it will set both those lights on.

Thanks for all the posts....To clarify my problem, I have two warning lights on at the same time...Both are circles with arcs on both sides ( look like brake pads on a drum)...One has a "P" inside of the circle, the other has the "!" symbol...I understand the "P" as it is the standard parking brake symbol but am confused on the second one....Is it also a brake problem?...Will be at this KOA for the next three weeks but then have a 1500 mile trip home....All input is appreciated....Am relieved that it appears not to be a transmission light!

As Jon Brazel said, If the brake fluid in the master cylinder is not at the proper level it will set both those lights on.

Probably not related, but I get one autopark light when the transmission is in the P position and another if I should pull the yellow AP knob, even though they both have the same function and do exactly the same thing, which is to set the automatic parking brake on the drive shaft.
