Brought back some sad memories, Max, especially after the tragedy at Las Vegas over the weekend. Off thread a bit, but made me think of Kyle Petty's son. I was at the new track in Homestead when John Nemecheck was killed during the truck race weekend. Very sad.
On a positive note, my rig has been performing very well, brake wise, since Reeder's Chevrolet in Knoxville completed the brake repair, and I've leaned on pretty hard several times.

I was so impressed with his operation I went by there this past spring and left him some memorabilia from the NASCAR '98 season. He is a huge fan, and he was at the track in Loudon, NH when Kenny Irwin was killed in the 2000 season.
I flew the #28 and #88, Robert Yates Racing, crews around- I was a corporate pilot and the airplane, A King Air B-200, was also on a charter certificate.
Kenny was in my airplane for almost all of the '98 season. Dale Jarrett was the #88 driver.
If anyone goes there to Dave's, he will tell you to go across the street to a neat restaurant for a great breakfast or lunch. Do it, while his crew tackles your rig--
Cheers,

Right Max, great place. He went through all his Earnhardt Sr memorabilia with us as I was a Sr fan. He has quite a collection of personallized stuff, and yes , breakfast was great.

Had mine done last spring. Replaced all calipers and two cracked rotors and two melted ABS sensors. Also reset the EDM because of the error codes from the brakes. Radically imporoved mileage and performance! Also replaced pads (which after 50,500 wre hardly worn) at facility suggestion because of possible delam of the pad material at high temp. To me it was $160 well spent!

Got mine done in VA this summer. Had them replace the pads and flush the brake fluid while they were doing it. Never had any problems with the brakes and have only about 30K on the coach.

Mine were done September 2010, within a week or two of availability. Two months later we began a 17,000 mile circuit of the Lower 48 AND Alaska that lasted 9 months. I had replaced rotors and pads as the coach already had 70K miles on it. Brakes worked fine.
So did everything else, mostly.
