After reading about all of the brake issues, I had my Workhorse dealer service my brakes. Not that I don't trust them, but how can I verify that they really pulled them apart and lubed the caliper pins? I got under there and looked but couldn't see them.

I also had them install the zerk on the bell crank. The whole thing was a big mystery to them but I finally got them to do it.

I don't know about 2001 W20 but--

Refering the 1st post of this page by DriVer-"Bosch Pin Slide Disc Brakes" Using a 18MM wrench you would remove the guide pin bolt then pull out guide pin and inspect for new grease.

This is the short version. You should read the complete service bulletin.

You might see wrenching marks on the caliper bolts. If they are dirty with no marks I would say the calipers were not serviced.
