When our motor home was new we had some front in work done there. Had to take it back four times and the problem was never solved. This place mostly deals with trucks, motor homes second. Would I have them work on our motor home again, No. I would highly recommend Redlands Truck Service. They are the best in southern Ca.

I second that recommendation! Redlands is a Select Service Center and is a top 10 rated WCC Server Center nationally.

I am in Tehachapi, so Mojave is close, Redlands Truck is a lot further. I am not real keen about the GMC dealership in Bakersfield either. (We had work on a car we bought from them in years past.)

I know that the Workhorse website as a place for feedback on service centers, but they don't seem to make that information available. So it is pretty well useless.

Thanks everyone.

I have to laugh at the pleas from workhorse to rate the dealers and then keep it secret! It matches all their other tricks.

I had my recall done at Desert Truck they were very efficent, in and out fast. I also had some other work done all work was done with no problems. This was my third visit in the past 9 years I have always been pleased with their service. Their price on a complete brake job is much less than at the Select Dealers. I had 53,000 mles on my 06 chassis and did not need pads. Also they are very honest and do not try to sell you other add on's. I have always used the "Rate a Dealer" option.

MFIR have you ever filled out guest questionaire at a Restaurant or hotel? If you have, where did you see the results posted by the Hotel or Restaurant. Could it be that the results are being used internaly to evaluate how to improve their service. I know for a fact that the information that is gatherered by "Rate a Dealer" goes to the Regional Service Managers (RSM). The RSM then works with the dealer to improve weak points. Also it is important to give positive feedback, so dealers that are doing a good job get a pat on the back.

I had used them back in the late 80's on some 18 wheelers we owned. Had dif. problems that kept coming back, but also had some indication it was more driver related. One thing about Desert, they are not in a high rent district, so that probably helps on the prices.

For sure they are not in a high rent area. They don't have waiting room but if you need spend the night there is plenty of parking room.

With this information, I will probably go with them. K6TBC, how long did it take them? I am only 22 miles from their shop, so if it is very long, I will leave it. Otherwise I might stay with it.
Redlands may be better, but, if I have to take it back, 22 miles is a lot closer than 135 each way.

It takes about 3 to 4 hrs. depending if you need pads or not. Be sure to call ahead and set up a time.
