Hi Guys,

I have a Damon Challenger based in the UK, and it is a Workhorse P32 chassis with a Chevrolet 6500cc Turbo Diesel.

On our way back from a trip to Spain recently, the engine cut out completely and a local mechanic discovered that the ignition switch had burnt out. he managed to do a temporary repair to get us back to England, but I now need to replace the switch.

I have removed the switch and attach a photo.

Help please?

Hi & welcome to the forum.
Are there any #'s stamped anywhere on the switch housing? A GM dealer may be able to cross reference the # to one in stock. OEMY's' here may also assist you. There's one somewhere.
Again WELCOME...

Hey Cobra,

Here is the part number I used to replace mine. KS6622 ECHLIN from NAPA.
Hope this helps. I had to replace mine last year. I added the relay kit to mine. So far, so good.

Thanks for your replies guys.

I have managed to locate a Delco part in England, so hopefully I'll fit it tomorrow with a relay.
