Was wondering if my National RV, which was made in Parris, CA has the Calif. emission controls?

Is there a difference on the W22 chassis sold for use in CA vs. sold for use in other states? I purchsed in Florida and registered MH in Florida.

Good question. Like you, my 2002 NRV coach was delivered to Flroida from the factory in Perris and has never been titled anywhere else.

Remember, though, the requirements likely will be substantially different for a heavy truck class of vehicle, compared to a passenger car.

Most of the requirements would bne handled at the chassis level and so would be done by Workhorse. I don't have a WH chassis tech manual but Ford makes their Motorhome chassis tech description public and it states that the Ford F53 chassis complies with Federal, Canadian and CARB requirements, apparently all rolled into one. It identifies only "Evaporative emissions" and "emission control labeling (tune up information)" as having unique requirements from CARB. It's a good bet that WH does the same, since the requirements don't appear to be hard to handle.

I have a Newmar that was made in Indiana and sold in California, it is 50 State OBDII certified, I don't think Workhorse makes a chassis exclusively for California, they are all 50 State OBDII Certified.

CadMan is right. All chassis are 50-state certified. Mine was built for export to Canada (has some manuals and decals in French) but is still US certified for emissions.
