Just got back from a 3400 mile vacation trip from Houston to Virginia Beach, Washington DC, and back to Houston. My W20 ran like a top and I honest to God averaged 7.78 mpg for the entire trip pulling my Honda Civic toad. I've usually averaged 7.2 in the past, but as I turned over 20K miles on the engine, mileage has increased.....hope it lasts.

Awesime Ihill,
Was the terrain fairly flat or has your engine finally broken in?
Our first long trip was from Fairbanks to Seward Alaska and back this month and our average was 6.8 mpg. *choke* The trip was about 1,000 miles.
We have a ton of hills and mountians to climb up here. I now only have 4,000 miles on the engine. Most of those miles came from driving the coach from the factory up here to the dealer.

FWIW, I'm in the middle of a 3 month tour of the NW. I've 28000 miles and just switched to Mobil 1 at last OC. I may have been lucky to have had some tail wind days. But my av MPG has been up from 6-8 mpg to 8-10 now. I'm sure we're past breakin. Used 10-w30 oil always. and tow always. When I finish this summer I will go over actual gallons and miles to get the oveall picture of MPG. Maybe synthetic is better..

Wow! You mean I've actually got something good to look forward to on the subject of motorhome fuel? Can't wait to get some more miles on it.

I'm with you wilanddij,
I'm not even towing yet, but this sounds like great news for the future.
