Dave.K, Well you certainly came to the right place to find out about service tips on the UFO chassis.
The fuel filter is located in the C channel rail. It is a returnless type that has 3 fittings on it. There is no service requirement that obliges you to change the filter however some folks will choose to replace the filter periodically.
Inspect belts goes all the way out to 60,000 miles.
We have a good UFO Community here with as many as 8 or more UFO owners so you will get a good consensus of opinion and advice about your UFO.

I purchased the fuel filter Oemy's Web Site - Fuel Filter Adpater shown here and change my filter once a year. As Driver stated above, the filter is located inside the frame rail on the passenger side. You may have to loosen the clamps on the fuel lines to get some needed slack.
My serpentine belt has been replaced by repair shops 3 times. I don't know what it involves.

Thanks for all the replies so far. I have already purchased the fuel filter adapter from OEM and will be replacing the original one once the weather up here (in Canada) warms up a bit more.
One of the issues that I am wondering about on the fuel filter install is the 'releasing the pressure' issue - is it enough just to wait for a day or two after last running the engine or is there another way to release the pressure?
In regards to changing the serpentine belt - I have read (and copied) the info posted on OEMY's site, however, it is not specific to the UFO. What I am wondering about on the UFO chassis is whether the belt can be best be reached from the top or bottom and if the fan shroud leaves enough room to work or if it needs to be removed?
While I have just joined the forum and this is my first posting, I have followed it for almost a year and the information has been excellent.
Thanks again for all the replies.

Dave, there is a small amount of residual pressure in the fuel line when you change the fuel filter, it really is of no consequence. Just crack the fuel line fitting at the filter, you will lose very little fuel in doing so.
Welcome aboard,

My son-in-law changes the fuel filter for me, he hasn't mentioned a problem with fuel pressure.
All of the work on my Coach engine has been from underneath except for the AC compressor replacement.

With the engine OFF there is a little bit of pressure but no volume. I just wrap the the area of the fitting with a rag and crack the line. You will need to use 2 wrenches.

WOW, how long have you had your UFO. After 3 belts and some of the other problems you have indicated, it seems you have had more than your fair share of problems.

I have owned it for 3 years 8 months and have 29,000 miles on it. I lost a water pump at 7,000 miles and then the fan clutch assembly (FCA) failed on the test drive. That was 2 serpentine belts. I then had the new FCA installed at 14,000 miles and they also replaced the water pump and belt. Last summer the AC compressor froze and destroyed the belt.
In spite of the problems, I still love my UFO and would buy one again, if they still made it.
