Has anyone changed the in-line filter on a W22 gas rig? Can't find a replacement part #, however talked to a Workhorse service center and he will ship one to me. It is a two line connector on the engine side, one being a return feed back to tank filler. The Napa 3481, as used on other units, won't work.

I think the fuel filter is only available from GM. However there is an aftermarket one on www.oemy-performance.com

True if the GM dealer is a Workhorse shop. Your link to my site is not correct. The how to change it is here R & R The Workhorse Fuel Filter

OEM-Engineering sells an adapter to allow the use of the GF481/652 style filter.

I bought OEM's replacement adapter and it works perfectly. It uses a much cheaper replacement filter as the complexity of the inlet and outlets are built into the adpter. So the filter is simplified making it cheaper without giving up quality.

I also purchased OEM's fuel filter adapter, excellent quality and works great. Besides that it saves me money.

if the W22 is anything like my W24 I hope your "flexible" while you're under there changing it...you should also use a flare nut wrench on the fuel line fitting to avoid rounding it off...if you do a search you'll find my adventures while tackling it...
