I've got an '08 Winnebago Adventurer 37b on the W24 chassis ('07 chassis) and have been experiencing almost "buckboard" sounds when driving slow and /or braking whether I drive straight or make a turn. It sounds like the springs or in that general vicinity. Is that the norm for the W24 chassis? I had planned to replace the shocks with Koni's to smooth out the ride and wondered if this would have any effect on the annoying noise. I had hoped this was just break-in noise but after 4,000 miles I guess not.

Hi Ron,
My 08 Allegro Bay is on an 07 W-24 chassis. From early on, I also experienced creaks and groans in the front end of my coach. Some noises also developed in the rear of the coach. At about 4K-5K miles, the sounds just stopped. FWIW, my coach had about 1.2K miles on it at the time of delivery.
My coach was at Redlands Truck & RV for some warranty and routine service work and they didn't find anything wrong. Keith from Redlands also offered he had similar sounds on his 06 W-24 chassis.
BTW, if you need any warranty or routine service work, I can highly recommend Redlands Truck & RV.

Shortly after buying our coach, in May 2006, we expirienced sounds similar to what you're describing - front and rear. The nylon washers/ bushings were the fix. Installed under warrenty @ NC.

MIght I throw in a possible cause, and it's one that we had.
The heat sheilds that are parallel with the floor that Winnebago spot welds on to each side of the rails that run from front to back....very annoying pops and the local dealer secured the rear portion with screws that solved the problem. See my earlier posts about this problem.

Seems to be a common coach builder flaw. I had same issues on my NRV. I used a generous amount of urethane adhesive along all the edges of the heat shield where they contact frame members. No poping or loosening up in last 3 years.

I had a creaking noise on our 08 NRV W24 when braking or turning. The problem was with the undercoating they spray after the chassis is complete. By spraying WD40 or something similar on the front springs attachment points, the noise went away. It took two generous applications to completely eliminate the noise.
