chevy p30 gearbox problem

Hi every one i have a 96 tiffin allegro on a p30 frame i cannot get any drive from the gearbox.I replaced the two sencers on the transmission brake but hav'nt got any drive.I'am thinking it might be a solinoid on the gear shift does anyone have any ideas it does'nt help that i'am in the united kingdom and its difficult finding anyone who is in the know when it comes to an American rv.Thanks Colin

Hi Colin,

A GM dealer should be able to help you since it is on a GM chassis.

You can also check out the Tiffin RV Network and see if anybody on there can offer suggestions. They are owners of Tiffins and have a lot of knowledge.

Try posting in the Workhorse and Chevrolet chassis owners forum. Someone with the same chassis may be able to help.

I really wish there was something I could offer to you that would help with the situation. I would have to imagine being in the UK only makes matters worse for service.
