I'm coming from a Ford F53 to a WH24 and I have a question about warning sounds at start-up. I get a 3 to 5 second audio chime/warning then it stops. No errors on the dash instrument panel display. This RV is a 2007 with 7K on it from the origional owner. I have Powergear levelers and have verified that the alarm/chimes are not from Powergear alarm.

RV service Mgr says that the sounds are an indication that all check-systems are normal. I had some other work done @ dealership and will p/u
in 2 days. I would like to have more info/feedback from Workhorse owners. Is this alarm/chime sound @startup normal. Thanks........ CBB

I get a 3-5 sec warning chime but that is the roof antenna warning alert.

I'm off to the dealership on Friday. Will check the antenna. I knew to
check the antenna on our previous RV. Sometimes I think that I have more
in common with Homer Simpson than I would like to admit. Thanks CBB

No need to check the antenna as the chime is not directly connect to it.

The chime sounds even if the off air antenna is in the stowed position. It's just a reminder to check and make certain the antenna is down.

Mine runs a bunch of self tests. It lights every lamp on the dash, it sounds every alarm chime, Simply part of the user assisted POST (power on self test) it performs.

There is no indication of problem because. There is no problem to indicate

However. I"m not sure how long it lasts
