Exactly what I said Driver.. You will not find out about them UNLESS YOU ASK, which, by the way, I did (Download the chassis guide)

Downloading is a form of asking.

As I said, they are not exactly secret, Just not broadcast.

The difference between a TSB, sometimes called a "Hidden Warranty" by the media, and a Recall is that with a RECALL you are supposed to receive a notice in the mail.. With a TSB you have to ask.

you may ask by going to the dealer (Authorized service center)
You may ask by going to the web page
But you have to take action, it's not automatically sent to you.

Unless you ask, TSB's are on a need to know basis. X number of TSB's may have been given out at shows, etc or whatever, but it does not and never has included consumers. It does not matter if it were GM, Ford, Chrys, AMC, BMW, MB, or XYZ. It doesn't matter. You want to know ASK. The manufacturer is under no obligation to inform the consumer. If it is a recall it is a very different story.

If you had ever come to one of my seminars, I would have given you one without asking. That was my point.

There's another point for both sides of the discussion.

a. Driver knows nothing about any conditions ... happy driver. (If it ain't broke)
b. Driver should know all the conditions about the vehicle ... Better informed driver, will be wondering where, when and how to get that fixed if it applies to their vehicle. That said; Sometimes people read more into TSBs and it doesn't even apply to them.

DC: the only "listing" of TSBs that I'm aware of was contained in the 2006 chassis guide to which Mike referred. THAT will be my source of info that I offerred to provide to anyone here that does not have access to the old edition of the chassis guide. OBTW, please keep in mind that not "all" of the Workhorse TSBs have anything to do with an RV chassis, however, some of them may apply to RV and Commercial units.

Edgray,

Thanks for the reply and info on TSB's

Why mess with that little putt-putt when you could have this 632 CU In, 815 HP engine for a grand more?

BluePrint Engines Pro Series Chevy 632 C.I.D. Base Crate Engines - SummitRacing.com

These engines are the perfect choice for drivable and reliable high-end performance. With a couple of these RDS Rectangular Auxiliary Transfer Fuel Tank — 91 Gallon, All Diamond, Model# 71791 | Auxiliary, Transfer, + Skid Tanks | Northern Tool + Equipment in the storage compartments, it might be an excellent choice for a motorhome.

Success! I actually made it to the very last post (currently) in this thread. Convinces me even more that whatever horsepower and torque I have, good enough... and no matter how poor the fuel mileage, good enough! Doesn't seem worth the risk and huge dollars if something goes wrong. I'll just leave a little earlier to make up for less horsepower and stop a little sooner for fuel to make up the MPG I didn't gain by doing these types of performance upgrades.

Now, learning more about TSB's for our motorhomes might be worth the effort.

Happy New Year -RT

You can try NHTSA's site for TSB's NHTSA TSB or you can go to All Data and pay for a search.
