I've done diy CAI, Ultrapower w/Taylor wires and with Redlands instruction, the problem of ac blowing hot has been fixed. The vent still flows hot tho. Redlands said the intake for that is in engine compartment. Another hurray for WH design!!!. But I can't find it to extend to a place in front of radiator. Any ideas?

When I use my dash air I have it set for MAX AC which just recirculates the inside air and does not bring in air from the engine compartment.

eandy, don't be too quick to blame the poor location of the air intake on Workhorse. It is the coach manufacturer that determines where the fresh air intake for heater/ac/vent is located.

One thing that you might look at. There is a foam air filter on the intake. Cannot see from outside, but just feel up inside the air intake box. Mine is clean and I don't know how to remove filter.

Thats just it. I can't find air intake box. Keith at Redlands couldn't see it either and said it must be in engine compartment. Haven't lifted dog house yet but looks like I gotta. Probably would have to in order to extend out to cold air. Just hoped someone would know.

eandy,
On my Rexhall it is located on the front of the firewall on the passenger side. If you open the hood door and look up toward the passenger side you should see a plastic box about the size of a breadbox with 2 openings facing down and the heater hoses going into it. The 2 openings facing down are the air intake for the vent/heat/air.

I just went out and looked at mine and it's on the passenger side just above the CAI box that Brazel's installed... In fact mine has foam filters that cover the holes and I tryed to take them off to clean them and they don't come off easy... Is there a trick to taken the filters off? Also looks like the neighborhood cats are nosin around in there.. (I found some cat hair too.... Grrrrrrrrr

LeeB... I don't think the foam you are talking about are filters. They are to seal the air intake holes when you switch to max air. I would leave them alone.
