What is the expected life of the hoses and when should they be replaced?

Not sure life span of your hoses but the hoses have a splice with 4 clamps holding two sections of hose which splices the heater to engine.
You will find them on top right hand side of motor looking through dog house opening.
I assume the hoses are of same make so should age together.
If you check these splices check the clamps they could be loose and anti maybe dripping on top of motor and you will smell it at times.

Ron, There isn't any specific recommendation other than to inspect all hoses. I am in the 8th year of ownership and 80K+ miles and I'm still running the same radiator and heater hoses.

I had them inspected last year when I had the coolant changed and they said they were ok.
I'm going on 10 years so I guess I will have them checked again before we head out this year.

Mine are 8+ years old and I don't believe they have been changed. They still look ok but the RV is kept in Phoenix and I have 78,000 miles on the old beast.
