I am planning on flushing the cooling system on the motorhome. Can I reasonably expect to get out all the antifreeze? If not, how much? Don't want not buy more Dex-cool than necessary.

Also replacing the radiator and heater hoses if that helps.

Thanks
Ed

Ed, You should be able tyo get most of it out of there. Do not use a chemical flush of any kind ... not a good idea.

You can look up Oemy's website and he has the entire procedure detailed.

You might want to take a look at this thread http://www.irv2.com/forums/f22/replacing-coolant-51876.html about my coolant replacement. It talks about the amount of coolant needed and the location of the drain plugs on the side of the engine block.
Note that a 1/4 inch socket extension fits the radiator drain plug and it only takes about a half turn to open it.
