But that darn Oemy is now offering that Ultra power with $100 discount!!! What to do????Is 3000 miles to soon to put it on my '09???Please stop Oemy! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I just did a 07 Dolphin today with 6,000 miles. So, 3k is not too soon. Besides Get-R-Done at Myrtle Beach and save $100.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">From what you know Oemy,what readings do you think I will be able to get on my '09 coach? I was hoping for oil pressure, volts, trans fluid temp and maybe horsepower or torque percent. I have a 6-speed. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Not codes work on every coach.

1) The tranny temp only works on 5 speeds I am told.
2) volts - yes
3) oil pressure - ? not sure - I have not seen it in the book or on the gauge.
4) HP - maybe as it is one they have added. But, remember HP is a calculation base off the Torque.

If these are MUST haves then it is probably not for you at this time. But, I am sure that Linear-Logic is working on some of these.

Well the HP display works.. I let the engine run up to 4 grand once and it showed 361 HP. Most of the time it was between 140 and 175.

The Tranny Temp didn't work. I did check the code today and there was a wrong input digit which I corrected. We will see tomorrow if that fixes the problem.

One of the fuel trim gauges worked.. I think I programmed the wrong one for the 2nd display. I corrected that and will check on it tomorrow.

I added Oil Life... just for grins.

I also added the Air Fuel Ratio...

Scan Gage or Ultra power, Scan Gage or Ultra Power

Why not Scan Gage AND Ultra Power?

Well I tested the TFT, AFR and OLF. They all work.

TFT
The Allison ran about 150 to 158 degrees all day.

AFR
The Air Fuel Ratio was at 14.6 the few time I looked. Ideal is 14.7:1

OLF
The Oil Life Monitor started at 41.5% and the next time I checked it it was 39.1%.

WT
I check the Coolant temp and it ran 204 degrees. The clutch fan kicked in at about 207 to 210 and released at 198 degrees.

MPH
The MPH is right on with my GPS.

MPG
But, MPG is very similar to the Instant version displayed on the Acita cluster.

Omey,

Saw your post on the gas prices, don't sell my scan gauge for gas ok. We'll be leaving Friday night and should be there sometime Saturday afternoon.

See you soon,

Al

For those the plan to get a ScanGauge I have programmed HPR (Horse Power), AFR (Air Fuel Ratio), OLF (Oil life) in addition to the TFT (Allison Trans Temp) that Steve Brazel did.

Dale, will that provide the Alison 6-speed transmission temperature, or is that only for the 5-speed?

That's right!! Add Taylor Plug Wires and new plugs. I'll be trying to test the butt dyno tomorrow in the campgroud, lets see how fast we can go from 0 to 10... the ride home should be nice.

this is the answer from linear logic to some of my questions:
Re: ScanGauge II"

Daniel,

You may want to try the TXD value without the 01 at the end, that could be
causing the problem.

We hope to have more X-Gauge codes available for sensors like Oil Pressure
in the future, it's just a mater of deciphering the vehicle codes.

can you please "invent" input numbers for engine oil pressure?
i just rechecked all the inputs for torque (TRQ) including mth. i edited the
mth input just to be sure. i have to drive it to see if it works now.
i used the (01) numbers for txd. can that make a difference?
i used the (01) numbers in txd for the other x gauge items and they work ok.

&gt;
&gt; Daniel,
&gt;
&gt; Make sure for the X-Gauge Torque reading you have correctly input the MTH
&gt; value. If that value is wrong it will cause the value to read out 0.
&gt;
&gt; Unfortunately we do not have an X-Gauge to display oil pressure.
