I have a 2003 DolphinLX 34 ft when I turn on the dash air I only get warm to hot air this happened to me while I was in Arizona had the gen with the roof air going still wanted a little cooler as it was 100 degrees out after I got back to Canada I again tried my dash air but got hotter air than outside air temp is there a system check that I can do before running 200 miles to the nearest
workhorse dealer this is the first time I have used the dash air since purchasing the unit 2 yrs ago

You actually do not need to go to a Workhorse Service Center since many companies are well equipped to work with air conditioning systems.

Just call around a bit perhaps you can find someone that will check for leaks and re-charge your system.

If the rig is under warranty then you may wish to visit an authorized dealer and not pay for it.

It seems that some AC units have a problem with something called an expansion valve. I have seen this mis-diagnosed (I mean I knew it was not the low pressure cut out switch as I HEARD the compressor run)

My rig had that problem. Since I was doing a factory visit with it due to a more serious issue... They fixed at the same time.

Nice technician, we have become friends and any time I visit the plant we always have a chat.
