MEDIC: It MAY not be a workhorse issue at all. Often the coach builder will use a system suppied by another comapany to complete the dash air. Before driving any distance, and only after you are sure the coolant is not hot, disconnect one of the heater hoses going into the large box on the passenger side of the firewall. PLUG the hose using a bolt or wooden dowel and reclamp. Now run the engine and activate A/C on "max" to see if you get cold air out the vents. If your A/C works, the problem is the hot water shut off valve is not completely closing, and no A/C can overcome even a little heater function. If on the other hand, you still get no cold air, then perhaps you have lost some or all of the freon to a leak and that will need service from an A/C tech. Can you tell if the compressor is trying to run?? Not sure I would drive hundreds of miles just so Workhorse MIGHT have to fix it. Surely there is a competent automotive A/C service closer. Good luck. ED
