Quick question...How were your tires balanced?

External wheel weights or internal balancing beads, etc?

Are you the original owner?

I installed the Safe-T-Plus on my Ford chassis back in 2001. When I sold it in 2004, I moved it to my new 2004 W22. As of today it has a combined 135,000 miles of use. Three yrs ago I had a front drivers side blowout ... no warning and the whole tread launched. I was on flat level concrete surface but the interstate was under construction and the lnes were narowed up to 9ft. The coach dropped down but there was absolutely no pull to the left or right. Beside the safety, I like the comfort with the STP adjusted so that the coach tracks straight ahead even with a little crown in the road making it pull right.

I've never had a death wobble on a 4 wheeled vehicle, but I'm thinking the shocks could have something to do with it. I have Koni FSD shocks and they give great ride and handling. I did get a death wobble on a motor scooter when I had it overloaded on the back rack. Now that was scarry!

Have the shocks ever been replaced on your coach?

Bad shocks will allow the wheels to move up and down a lot more than they should.

Double check the drag link and steering tierod ends for excessive slack do to wear. Also check that the front end toe in is within specs, and front tires are of good quality and in good condition and are not under inflated.

Send a message via Yahoo to chili's trip
I installed Streer-Safe on 3 coaches including my current W-20. Functions independently on each front wheel. Recommended. Good luck.
